Acupuncturist AHPCSA Registered CMAAA Member Arie Mudau is a registered acupuncturist focusing on Pestle Needle Therapy, Facial Rejuvenation, and pain management. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Complementary Medicine at the University of Johannesburg and is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA). With a passion for holistic and patient-centred care, Arie focuses on understanding each patient’s unique health concerns and developing individualised treatment approaches. She has a particular interest and experience in sports recovery, stress reduction, and supporting overall health and wellbeing. Arie has further trained in various acupuncture-related modalities, including cupping therapy, moxibustion, guasha, and auricular acupuncture. In 2025, she completed specialised training in Cosmetic Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation and is currently one of the pioneers introducing Pestle Needle Therapy in South Africa following her training at the Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine supervised by the Sichuan Institute of Chinese Medicine in China.
